I like doing these cakes where the customer cares that the cakes tastes as good as it looks! That means less fondant. So, the inside is my famous black and white (alternating layers of chocolate cake and vanilla cake with chocolate and vanilla frosting). The outside is vanilla buttercream. The only fondant on this cake is the pink ribbons and polka dots. The white polka dots are piped frosting.
The occasion? Baby shower for an almost-here baby girl!
