My cousin-in-law has been wanting a make-up cake since he and my cousin were married nearly 2 and a half years ago. The top tier of their wedding cake (the one people save and freeze for their 1st anniversary) was jacked and eaten by relatives and it was a sore point with this awesome couple. Since they have gone on their annual anniversary vacation the last couple of years, I’ve had a hard time making them their make-up cake.
Bryan ordered this cake weeks and weeks ago! He wanted to surprise my cousin Lauren in a way she wouldn’t expect. Vday was perfect! I hoped they enjoyed it!!
The inside is vanilla cake and orange infused cannoli filling with mini chocolate chips. The outside is white vanilla frosting, decorated with lilac & silver dragees and clear sanding sugar up top.
